Horrible company; I switched my two motorcycles to Geico (which was half the price and provided more coverage) while keeping my other five vehicles covered. THE 5 VEHICLES WERE REMOVED FROM THE POLICY, BUT THE 2 BIKES WERE KEPT!! For a week, we drove without insurance!! We recently changed the vehicles to Geico. Because we are behind on our automatic insurance payments, we are being charged this month for the five vehicles that aren't even covered by an LB policy. A "customer service" agent hung up on me today. If you want to do yourself a favor, switch to Geico or ANYONE other than LB.

Liberty is a HORRIBLE insurance company. I'm being charged a roughly $2000 deductible for storm-related repairs. Of course, I'll cancel as soon as I find another company. For the past 15 years, I've been paying them around $2000 per year. Mine was the only other accusation that they NEVER FINISHED addressing. My expenses were over $10,000, yet they only gave me $5.000. They only dealt with ONE CLAIM, not the entire case.

They won't give you anything... my ceilings were destroyed, and they refused to repair anything... they claimed my deductible was larger than expected. I spoke with an agent, the name of a separate division of Liberty, not a corporation. They specialize in servicing credit union members. After chatting with the agent, who informed me that he had been with the company for 18 years, he provided me with a quote that was $55 more per month, or $664 more per year, than my current coverage through Geico. My credit union's letter offers a savings of $581 per month, but this isn't it. If you go via them, I wish you luck and hope they can get you a discount like they say or advertise, but they were unable to help me.

My company has sent me an LM promotional offer. Even with the reduction, it was still an expensive purchase. All of the payments were withdrawn from my paycheck every month. I didn't get any correspondence, billing statements, or anything else from LM. Because my work provided the coverage, I figured it would expire as health insurance does. Or I assumed that if they stopped sending money, I'd get some form of communication from them. I went three months without receiving anything. When I finally got a notification, it said they would send my account to collections and that I owed a lot of late fees. It was difficult to reach a representative because the phone system didn't recognize my policy number. I didn't have a login for the website, and none of my information was recognized. The last agent I dealt with was rude and simply demanded that I pay everything and all fees immediately. The representative then gave me unwelcome legal advice, forcing me to request to speak with a supervisor. A supervisor was supposed to contact me, but that never happened. After waiting several weeks for a supervisor to contact me, I gave up. It took me a long time to contact them again to pay my debt. I will never use Liberty again because their customer service was so bad.

I'm covered by Liberty and AAA, and believe me when I say this is the worst thing you can do. You pay for it regularly, yet they cannot help you when you need it. I got locked out of my car today and attempted to contact them; after 3 hours of being transferred to several providers and being canceled after more than an hour of waiting, I'm still waiting. They allocated me to my fourth provider and told me I'd have to wait until 2:30 p.m. Customer service was ineffective. As a courtesy to yourself, get AAA independent from your insurance.

You've got to be joking, right? I've been a customer of Liberty for three years, and I've always paid on time for my car, motorcycle, and renters insurance. With your giveaway, Liberty has always been willing to accept my payment. I recently had a sewer back up in my house, and as a result, I lost almost $8000 worth of belongings, including my love sack, TV, numerous cupboards, and everything I bought that wasn't part of the property. I have around $1200 of Affliction and rock revival clothing and a $329 pair of red wings that laid in sewage for 3 hours before we returned home and fought the leak of human excrement all over my floor and clothes when I turned in my clothes. I called in and submitted a claim, and Calvin Barker, the most unsympathetic, unpleasant, and abrasive man I've ever had the misfortune of working with, was assigned to me. After three hours of sitting in human feces, this person insisted on having my clothes dry cleaned.

We had to decrease the house since he refused to help me pay for the hotel we needed to relocate, and E issued me a check for $234 on my $8000 plus claim. I almost got the idea he was proud of himself for screwing me up so badly. I contacted the complaint department with some concerns but never received a response. He now gets away with paying me $234 for $8000 worth of my possessions that were wrecked after 3 hours in human garbage. "Well, that's the brakes, son," he added, humiliating me as I'd never been humiliated. When my father was dying in the hospital due to all that was going on with me, he told me that I wasn't this man's son. I needed support and assistance at this time, and I felt I could turn to my insurance company for help at the time and need I had paid them to give. When I contacted them, though, I received no response. Do not utilize this firm; it was the worst experience of my life; I've never dealt with someone so cruel and incentivized; I'll be getting a lawyer and filing for arbitration, and I'll be reporting him for disrespecting my father by referring to me as his son. Buyers beware: this is not the company to call if you have an emergency. If you need, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else since they will not help you.

I found a lower rate from another company and canceled my insurance yesterday over the phone with a person who indicated I wasn't entitled to any money back and that my policy had been canceled, so everything was OK, right? I received an email this morning stating that I owe $120 by June 22nd. When I originally contacted, I was put on hold and then hung up, only to be told that I was being billed a month late and that the first payment I made to start my policy was only a down payment. I will report these people to the Better Business Bureau since they're scumbags.

I've had Liberty for almost two years and, until yesterday, have never been treated rudely or disregarded. I had a flat tire and had to travel another 300 miles home after getting a donut on it. That was never going to work. I needed a tow and a new or used tire, but their third-party roadside help was ineffective...they claimed to have located a tow but kept me detained for hours...needless to say... Three days before the due date, I canceled my coverage. "It's been canceled," stated the customer service person. There are no fees mentioned. Even though State Farm and Geico did not, they want to tell me that NC enables them to charge you a cancellation fee. You should not have the legal ability to send a bill if your representatives fail to do their job properly in informing you about a cancellation charge and the account is closed. That is a scumbag business strategy. It comes from the 1920s and asks you to pay for "protection." This is not the place to go if you're looking for a dependable, honest insurance company. They're con artists expecting that you won't ask enough questions, allowing them to deplete your bank account even more. LIBERTY SHOULD NOT BE USED!!! They have no motivation to offer you the best care possible. They are going to take advantage of you!

They're the absolute worst!! Use your money wisely!!! A hit-and-run driver struck me. While parked in front of my residence, my automobile was struck. They declined to help even though the other party had left their bumper, plate, and video footage. The DMV search, according to the representative, returned no results. I had to gather the information from the other party on my own, and when I did, the representative miraculously stated that they had received it. They recanted their previous assertion after discovering the other party lacked insurance, even going so far as to "modify my policy" and give me this bogus letter about the state's coverage. If that was the case, why did you offer me the policy? Why are you billing me for a month's worth of service?

To make matters worse, this happened in January, and I canceled; yet, they are now billing me for two more months. THIS COMPANY IS SCAMMING THEIR CUSTOMERS!!! THIS WEBSITE SHOULD NOT BE VISITED!!!
