On 4/25/22, a Home State County Mutual client struck my parked automobile on the side of the road. That car collided with my other car, which was parked next to it. As a result, I have two vehicles that have been damaged. One had front and rear-end damage, while the other had only front-end damage. Neither automobile is going to start. On 4/27, I filed a claim with the at-fault drivers' insurance, HSCM, as recommended by my insurance carrier. (assertion #**********) I was assigned to one adjuster, then reassigned to a different adjuster, from whom I have yet to hear. I've left a lot of messages. I contacted customer support, who said they would contact the supervisor and get back to me within 24 hours. Nothing has changed. I'm down to two cars. I have a 19-month-old and a full-time job that has been tough to manage for the previous two and a half weeks, and my boyfriend is now unable to work. I'm in desperate need of a solution, and I need one now.

On January 15, 2022, I was engaged in a car accident in which the Home State County Mutual Insurance Company insured was at fault. Still, regrettably, the insured died as a result of the accident. They have all of the police papers proving the insured was at fault, as well as two additional parties who have suffered losses due to the insured. One of the other parties had to hire a lawyer because the insurance company refused to move on with the process, stating they lacked all necessary documents. My adjuster is impossible to contact, and she never returns my calls. My car is not drivable and has been in the tow yard since January 16, 2022. It is at risk of being sold by the tow yard because my insurance company refuses to accept responsibility and collect the vehicle from the tow yard. They take their time resolving lawsuits to avoid accepting liability and paying for the damages. I urgently require assistance in resolving this issue. Because I am not injured, no lawyers are interested in taking on the case. Because of this insurance company's incompetence, I will lose my car.

My daughter was hit again in May 2020, and she originally had little difficulty contacting her adjuster. When she finally contacted her, she was instructed to file the onsite report, along with any comments she had and images of her vehicle. The unanswered calls, emails, and messages didn't stop there. In September, my daughter informed me that the case had been "closed due to a lack of interest." It wasn't from my daughter but their client. I've called multiple times to try to start the claim process. I've sent everything as instructed, including the initial onsite report and the actual PD report, photos of both vehicles involved, including our VIN, mileage, full vehicle photos, and my daughter's statement. Still, I've received no response from this company. When I speak with the agents that answer the phones, they write "escalations" to the person I'm trying to reach and the manager - these escalations SHOULD trigger a call within 24 hours - both have received at least three escalations from me at this point, with one return VM and no contact since. I've told multiple agents that I'm frustrated and that all I want is for our car to be fixed. The claim was put on hold because they couldn't reach their client; however, with all of the information provided, the claim could be sent for review and processing even if they hadn't spoken to their client. There has been no engagement even though all the material has been submitted. Even though they aren't actively involved, I'm told there's no one above my assigned claim manager and her manager every time I contact them. This incident occurred in May, and it has yet to be investigated. This company has a major lack of communication and teamwork when it comes to resolving the problem. When I asked the agents for guidance on how to best collaborate for processing to get our vehicle fixed, they told me to call my insurer, despite my daughter's not at fault.

In June 2020, I submitted a claim with this company. I tried calling the number on my insurance copy but never got through to the customer. I then requested a secondary number from the third party who sold me the policy. I contacted the backup number several times, was put on hold for almost 30 minutes, then disconnected. I was finally able to speak with someone, and I was informed that the adjuster had attempted to contact me but had failed to leave a voicemail. I then tried unsuccessfully to contact the adjuster and supervisor regularly, leaving many phone messages. What truly irritated me was when I spoke with the call center on July 13, 2020, and they informed me that my adjuster would contact me within 24 hours and that if she didn't, I should call back. The adjuster did not call, so I called the call center on July 14, 2020, 24 hours later, and the call center informed me that the adjuster had 24-48 hours from the prior date to contact me. On July 14, 2020 (48 hours after the initial date), I called again and was told that they would place a "suspense" on my case, which would alert the assigned adjuster's supervisor to contact me within 24-72 business hours. I contacted again on July 22, 2020, because I had not received any communication efforts and was told they would place me in "suspense." I don't expect anyone to call; all I want is a response to my claim.
